Sony α100 + Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3

Most photos in this blog are shot with Sony α100 + Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 lens combination. The original Sony lens (8–70 mm f/3.5–f/5.6), attached upon purchase in January 2007, broke and had to go to rubbish.

Though technically this camera is adequate for our use, some cons have appeared. First, the returning spring under shutter button is too weak, and thus the shutter button remains half-way down and prevents quick use of the auto focus. Second, the glued rubber handle comes off having being glued only lightly. Third, the continuous bracket mode is useless with the the exposure steps being 0.5/0.3 Ev. Any HDR photos need to be shot manually with added chance of shake.
